OSLO OPEN, 18 APRIL 12-17

Welcome to Open Studios, Saturday April 18 from 12-5 pm

Artists Stein Rønning, Roddy Bell and Solveig Landa open the doors to their studios, giving a unique insight into what it’s like to work in Edvard Munch’s Winter Studio today. Rønning has converted the large studio into a sculpture workshop for a few months. In the small studio, Bell shows his work with portraits and in the graphic workshop, Landa is producing new works for an exhibition on the West Coast of Norway.

If the sun is shining, Papegøye will do a pop-up café this Saturday. Papegøye is a café and wine bar on Grønland in Oslo that serves specialty coffee, with great respect for the craft. At Ekely you can get both coffee, iced coffee, cookies, lemonades and bags of coffee beans.

Welcome!

Papegøye is a café and wine bar on Grønland in Oslo that serves specialty coffee with great respect for the craft. In the evenings, Papegøye becomes a cozy wine and drink bar. Everything is 100% plant-based, and the menu is thoughtful and healthy. At Ekely you can get coffee, iced coffee, cookies, lemonades and bags of coffee beans this Saturday.

Papegøye is run by a handpicked and skilled team, and many have distinguished themselves in national and international coffee competitions. Additionally, the owners and several of the baristas have a background in culture, dance and music, cherishing the importance of quality, warmth and genuine human contact in the café.

We look forward to creating some of the same atmosphere at Ekely this Saturday!
